This group will use the funding in Sunderland to build upon the initial success of an existing project run by Sunderland City Council's East Area Committee to target and engage refugees asylum seekers and Eastern Europeans and the wider community in climate action. They will carry out environmental surveys workshops to create and recycle items to make bird houses and feeders and to restore a Sensory Garden within the local community. It will also provide accredited and unaccredited environmental training to on land management invasive species control and eradication.
