The group in Worcester will seek to showcase the importance of tackling the climate emergency on a local scale to local residents while seeking to enable and empower them to overcome the challenges of flooding in the area. This project 'Tackling Worcester�s Floods� will organise community consultation events and facilitate opportunity for listening to the topics and areas local people are most concerned about. The group will work with local ecologists group members and volunteers as well as the public during 24 weekly sessions. These workshops will respond to peoples concerns working between locals and professionals to explore and explain practically how local people can participate and rise to the challenges of flooding in the area. The delivered workshops form the basis for an Educational guided walk along the river banks. Additionally the same walk will be available to appreciate vie the org website to engage and inform a younger generation via an online GPS based adventure walk. The said will be a permanent and accessible resource for use as a legacy of the project and support the Environmental project to widen its reach to the public.
