This project will use sporting activity to engage with people who are over the age of 50 and experiencing increased mental health issues and isolation due to COVID-19. The project aims to reduce the risk of self-harm and suicide aid wellbeing and break negative thought patterns. Community-based activity sessions both physical and online will be offered. This will include a combination of low-level sport movement and exercise. The project will be working alongside local community organisations and spaces in order to set up pop-up activities in residential areas.
