The project will provide specialist family support services for BME families, mainly refugees and asylum seekers who, having moved to the Wirral, are experiencing difficulties with integration, isolation, language and harassment. Support is likely to include benefit advice, advocacy with statutory agencies, help to access community services and housing support. The grant, over two years, will part fund the salaries of two full-time Family Support Workers and running costs.
