The project in Sierra Leone aims to develop a community-driven solution to the large numbers of children unable to access basic primary education. The project will provide them with the opportunity to begin their formal education and start to break the cycle of poverty and limited opportunity. Project 500 will provide a fully funded and commissioned primary school classroom at a local primary school. The classroom will provide an accelerated programme of primary learning in language, literacy and numeracy.
