Friends of Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park will work with 250 volunteers in a project that will see the park developed into a breathing place based on biodiversity enhancements to create an urban oasis for wildlife and people. It will involve the management of the meadow, marsh, open water and woodland habitats in the park plus the creation of two mini spawning ponds for frogs, a variety of species-specific bird boxes, a bug habitat and a sensory garden.
