The Parish council aim develop Linch Furlong, a 1.1-hectare site in Oakley. It already contains a small woodland but is unmanaged and has become overgrown in recent years. Their proposal will involve clearing scrub, planting various shrubs, wildflowers, and trees and hedging. In addition, nesting boxes for wildlife will be installed as well as an otter holt. Working with volunteers from the community, various surveys and monitoring projects will be carried out to record wildlife populations in the area.
