This group will use the funding to employ a part-time food development worker who will work with residents to set up and run training sessions and activities to allow them to gain skills in cooking on a budget, zero waste awareness including reducing food waste and horticultural skill in the allotments next to the Club. A part-time caretaker will also be employed to aid the smooth running of the club. The roof of the club will be replaced to allow it to continue to serve as the social hub of the village.
