This year-long scheme will encourage children to try new activities including circus skills, water survival skills and horse riding. They will also visit Crystal Palace football club for a training session. The children all have emotional, medical or social difficulties and the project aims to boost self-esteem, promote healthy living and be a positive influence on all who take part. The children will also have the opportunity to join local sports centres and help out at a riding school for disabled people.
