The funding will support workshops over six months with pop up interior decorating/CSCS Card training for 15 young women aged 18-25. This project aims to tackle low attainment of young women including mothers with educational disadvantage who wish to consider working in the construction industry manual trades with an emphasis on interior decoration. . Activities include a coffee morning Women in Construction Awareness Programme practice simulated trades skills in interior decorating work experience on a local project and completion of the Health and Safety Awareness Course. Sessions will be in community hubs.
