The funding will be used to run community kitchens providing hot meals for vulnerable children and low income families during school holidays to prevent food poverty. It will also provide arts and crafts activities and sports to improve social skills and mental and physical wellbeing. The project will link with other local organisations to provide key information for families such as debt advice mental health information and signposting to other agencies to build connections and ensure those most affected by COVID-19 get essential help.
