The funding will be used to continue a counselling and bereavement service across Kent and Medway for parents who have experienced baby loss. The aim of their work is to reduce the impact of a traumatic period in a family�s life when they have identified issues which may threaten either the life of their expected baby and/or mother. Depending on the outcome of the pregnancy MM then support the families through premature baby issues or any other issues which may arise such as relationship breakdown and mental health and wellbeing. MM work to ensure mothers and families have access to support throughout their journey with different levels of support available to meet differing needs. The interventions aim to provide advice reduce isolation bring people together increase self esteem and confidence.
