The grant will be used to fund a development officer to support new and existing mutual aid groups. It will also be used to develop a formal coordinated Good Neighbour and Mutual Aid Scheme network and increasing and maintaining the number of schemes and community support groups active in Norfolk. It will also help to provide marketing resources and develop website resources as part of streamlining software solutions. The grant will also allow the organisation to gather data with a view to developing an app in the future which would allow logging of jobs and volunteer hours. It will also develop specialised volunteer training linked to specific issues (bereavement dementia etc) and a Good Neighbour Schemes to provide a local volunteer-based response to vulnerable people in need of support.
