The funding will be used to deliver language-based telephone support for over 150 BAMER women aged between 45-70 who are self-isolating and for whom English language is a barrier. The project is in response to numerous calls the charity is receiving for guidance around updates on the Covid19 pandemic in terms of government guidance financial advice emotional support translation and interpretation for benefit forms and referrals to other services such as food parcels and medication pick up.
