The funding will be used to rent additional space for three months to cater for the increase in demand to the food bank service. As well as supplying tinned products the service has evolved and therefore going forward will be providing fresh food as well as a home delivery service to safeguard those vulnerable leaving their homes during the COVID-19 crisis.
