The funding will be used to deliver COVID-19 responsive activities to the day centre�s 70 vulnerable older people many with dementia and to those in the wider community. This will include daily calls many of whom live alone essential doorstep shopping and medicine deliveries hot meal deliveries replacing the usual daily nutritious meals at the centre and medical appointment attendance carried out in close contact with GPs and pharmacies. There will also be exercise activities delivered digitally which will incorporate virtual group sessions to enable friends to interact.
