This project aims to make the Trans Pennine Trail � a popular cycling walking and hiking path much of which is along a green corridor peppered with nature reserves and sites of special scientific interest � more accessible particularly for disabled people and parents with small children. The purpose of this project is to enable access for all individuals and communities to enjoy and experience the mental and physical health and wellbeing benefits of connecting with nature as well offering a place for safe environmentally friendly modes of transport to be used between communities across South Yorkshire and beyond.
