Accessible, holistic support and early intervention will be funded for people experiencing bereavement. This project will help people manage their grief, reduce anxiety, develop coping strategies and move forward more positively following the death of loved ones. A new counsellor will help to reduce waiting list times and provide one-to-one specialist support for bereaved children and young people of school age. The group will also expand its remit to support people aged 18 to 24 who have lost a parent.
