This group will continue to train volunteers for the delivery of home visits and group sessions to support local families. The project aims to increase parenting knowledge, skills and confidence and reduce isolation whilst developing children’s confidence and their ability to socialise. Many of those being supported face a number of problems which can include mental or physical health, depression, exhaustion, loneliness, domestic violence, disability, multiple births and lack of English language skills.
