The project will use Family Football to engage low-income and hard-to-reach families living in disadvantaged areas of the region in family learning, enabling them to become stronger, healthier and more resilient. This will be delivered after school and will last for two hours with an hour in the classroom and an hour of physical activity. The classroom element will cover topics such as teamwork, healthy eating, fitness and acceptable behaviour with the sporting part being put into practice.
