This organisation will use the funding to provide a range of activities including numeracy and literacy sessions and mentoring support to women, in particular those from African communities who have experienced rape, domestic abuse and violence. This will empower people to improve their skills, increase confidence and self-esteem, with the aim of reducing social isolation and improving their overall wellbeing.
