This new project builds on elements of existing provision and will link existing neighbourhood support groups on the Firs and Bromford estates in East Birmingham, helping beneficiaries predominantly from BME backgrounds and often with low incomes and English as a second language, to address issues of social isolation, marginalisation and disconnection. It will engage local people to drive change from within to improve community cohesion and create opportunities for individuals living on the estates.
