The organisation will use the funding to run a variety of multicultural events to raise awareness of health issues within the Guinea community, provide cultural education on taboo subjects including female genital mutilation, forced marriages and reduce the fear surrounding the Muslim faith by organising a one day community event. This will improve community cohesion, re- educate families on illegal cultural practices and reduce isolation.
