The group are using the £600,000 grant for an alternative education programme for young people aged 12-19 in the Antrim area. The five year Antrim Youthways project is working with young people who are facing issues, including bereavement, bullying, caring responsibilities and eating disorders, which can affect their education. Using ideas from the young people, they are providing personalised plans to help their education or prepare them for employment, and get them involved in the community
