The organisation will use the funding to provide an extra-curricular food growing and nutrition programme for pupils and their carers based at an allotment site in south Manchester. This will improve the life chances of participants by developing transferable skills in horticulture and gardening and create a work ethic, and improve the health and wellbeing of participants by increasing their understanding of healthy eating and nutrition and their physical activity levels.
