The organisation will use the funding to deliver 24 workshops in 6 community centres to people who are mainly from the BME, refugee and asylum seeker groups, who have issues with obesity through leading a sedentary lifestyle along with poor dietary decisions. This will enable the organisation to improve the health of participants by increasing their physical activity through traditional dance workshops and create a better understanding of healthy eating through cookery lessons and taster sessions.
