The organisation will use the funding to create a community health garden within the school grounds for use by pupils of the school, their families, and to a wide range of people from local community groups. This will enable the organisation to engage the participants to learn the importance of healthy eating and teach them how to grow their own fruit and vegetables, aiming to reduce the rising tide of obesity in the community, and improve community cohesion.
