Supporting women, young people and children experiencing domestic abuse, the project will offer immediate assistance with issues such as housing, drug and alcohol issues, and provide support for long term recovery and resilience including counselling, play therapy, assertiveness courses and coping in crisis workshops. It will also encourage beneficiaries to act as peer mentors to help others who are experiencing abuse to integrate into the community and build up a local support network.
