The organisation will use the funding to establish discussion groups and educational workshops for men and women from local BME communities, many of whom may struggle with English or face barriers to participating in other activities. This will enable the group to provide support to people who are often marginalised within their own communities due to cultural practises, poor English skills or low confidence, reducing isolation.
