A new project from Nottinghamshire Royal Society for the Blind will create an outreach and engagement service in order to support isolated visually impaired people in rural parts of the county. Support will be provided for people in their local communities and individual's homes to help improve their independence and reduce levels of social exclusion. Support will also include social events, tea and chat sessions, sports, arts and crafts activities plus day trips and excursions.
