The organisation will use the funding to train residents from areas of deprivation to become community gardening champions in order that they can deliver six community gardening events; which will improve community garden areas, support vulnerable residents and create a wildlife garden on unused and overgrown land. This will provide volunteering opportunities and skills for residents in areas of deprivation, develop community cohesion.
