The organisation will use the funding to offer land-based work experience and training to people with mental health issues in the local community by integrating them into the work of running a working farm in South Cumbria, helping them to gain skills and qualifications in farming and small animal care, horticulture, agriculture, conservation, environmental, butchery and retail, with the aim of improving future prospects and health and wellbeing.
