The organisation will use the funding to train twenty adults, including older and retired people, to become 'community journalists' for the radio station and learn new communication skills. This will enable the organisation to help tackle the issue of social isolation in the community by providing an engaging activity for older people as well as giving them 'a voice' in the community.
