The organisation will use the funding to establish a new series of support and social activities for young people in the area aged 11-19 who self-identify as LGBT or are exploring issues relating to their own sexuality and gender. This will enable the group to provide young LGBT people with a voice and access to advice, social activities and projects to raise self-esteem and reduce isolation, particularly for those from communities who may face oppression due to their cultural or religious backgrounds.
