The funding will be used to provide sessions including digital skills, financial education, crafts, and discussion and self-help groups for disadvantaged members of the community, including those in poverty, unemployed and older people. This will improve their skills and confidence, reduce their social isolation and help them become active members of the community. The group will also train staff as digital champions.
