This project will use its funding to deliver a programme of tailored support to 150 unemployed BME women in Barking and Dagenham. Personal support will be offered to develop motivation, self-confidence and awareness of the training available to secure employment. A comprehensive assessment of needs and barriers to employment will be undertaken and an individual development plan put together. The project will also focus on Rwandese women experiencing mental health issues resulting from Rwandan genocide.
