The Access to Nature scheme will improve the quality of life in communities across England by improving local environments and the access people have to open spaces. Projects will include regenerating green spaces in estates, reviving wetlands, and planting woodlands. The programme will benefit people who have difficulty accessing the natural environment because of either social exclusion or physical disadvantage.
