This continuation and expansion of an existing project will provide one-to-one support and advocacy services for D/deaf people (a collective term for hard of hearing, deaf, and profoundly deaf people) in the St Helens district of Merseyside. This will enable them to overcome barriers to access primary health care services. It will also provide advice on accessing further employment and training, and help D/deaf people to identify their own goals in life and achieve them.
