Northumberland County Council will create a new floodlit multi-use games area and disabled access at the Castle Morpeth school. The new facility will be used for playing football, basketball, netball and tennis and will provide a quality sports facility in an isolated rural village. The project will help pupils and staff to develop their skills and standards, and will benefit 150 pupils from the school, 200 from other schools and 250 from the wider community.
