This project aims to prevent social isolation amongst people over 60 and support independent living. It will remove barriers to accessing services, address lack of confidence and provide direct support. Social clubs, exercise classes, day trips and a handyman service will continue and expand. A telephone service, including a low level memory loss prompting service, will be expanded. Volunteer recruitment and training will extend the scope and capacity of the services and increase intergenerational work.
