This is an expansion of an existing project based in Brighton, which aims to improve the wellbeing of around 3,000 LGBT people experiencing mental health issues, their family, carers and friends in the East and West Sussex areas. Beneficiaries experience a high incidence of mental health issues, suicide distress and self-harm, and isolation. To promote wellbeing, there will be advice, advocacy; peer support groups and partnerships to develop an outreach service throughout Sussex.
