This new five year project will improve the mental health of people from BME groups in crisis in Leeds. Many of the beneficiaries are at a crisis point due to homelessness, poverty or domestic violence. The project will reduce isolation, and provide those people with better access to community based mental health services. The project will also report a reduction in self harm and suicide attempts and reduce the level of people from BME backgrounds using other crisis and emergency services.
