This expansion of an existing project will provide befriending and advice services for older, rurally-isolated people in Bromyard and District, including those with acute needs such as disability, limiting long-term physical or mental illness, terminal illness or poverty. Housebound beneficiaries will be given an initial assessment by a project officer, who assesses their needs and signposts them to relevant agencies. They will then be matched with a suitable volunteer, who will visit weekly.
