This expansion of an existing project will aim to improve the lives of culturally diverse communities in Bristol, living in cold, damp homes and struggling to pay fuel bills or at risk of falling into arrears. The project will focus particularly on the city's estimated 16,000 Somali population, and also train existing service providers to support this community. Many of the intended beneficiaries experience language problems, isolation, poor physical and mental health, and a poor socio-economic profile.
