The main aim of the project is to use early crisis intervention to protect women and children at the point of separation from perpetrators of domestic abuse, enabling them to remain in their homes (while the abuser leaves) and improving/sustaining the mental wellbeing of the women and their children. This includes providing safety precautions such as the installation of panic alarms, lock changes and security checks and the provision of personal security alarms.
