The Mary Stephens Hospice will use the award to develop a sensory garden designed to stimulate the senses and provide a restful and secluded space for its adult patients, their family members, visitors and children. Planned by a volunteer with experience and enthusiasm for horticulture, the project will involve the local community and hospice patients in its implementation and will benefit people living with serious illnesses and their families at the most challenging time of their lives.
