The grant will be used to fund the Achieving Something Special project which will use music therapy to improve the education and self-esteem of adults with learning disabilities across the north west. The organisation, based in Eglinton, will run a range of education and arts programmes for people of all levels of disability - and music will be used to help them relax, communicate and discover new skills they never through they achieve.
