Greenbank High School, based in Southport, will use the award to establish a garden area and provide volunteer opportunities that will complement the Duke of Edinburgh scheme that is run at the school. The garden area will be securely fenced off, allowing direct access during school holidays and weekends without having to open the entire school. The project will allow students to develop an understanding of where fruit and vegetables come from and healthy eating habits.
