With help from a Lottery grant the Dyslexia Institute will run after school tuition sessions for young people with dyslexia. The group will also run a drop in surgery for the local community which will offer free, confidential advice to people who have, or know someone who has, learning difficulties. A pilot project run by the group showed how useful drop in sessions can be in raising awareness of dyslexia and identifying and supporting newly diagnosed dyslexic children and adults.
