This group provides support to help isolated women gain financial independence and prepare for the workplace. They will use an award to implement a new mentoring scheme to provide additional support to women making the transition from unemployment to the workplace. Volunteers will be trained as mentors and will impart life skills that will directly improve the quality of life of the service users, by supporting their confidence, motivation and independence.
